Algiers: The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has granted a periodic interview to representatives of the national media. The interview is scheduled to be broadcast today at 9:00 p.m. on national television and radio channels.
According to Algeria Press Service, during this meeting, President Tebboune addressed several national, regional, and international issues. He emphasized the significance of the Gara Djebilet-Tindouf-Bechar project, describing it as "one of the battles fought by the great men of this country" and marking "the beginning of a large-scale national project."
The President also discussed issues related to the application of the Constitution, the government's performance, and the country's development momentum. He addressed trade union activity, the implementation of highway tolls, and press freedom.
Regarding citizens living abroad who have previously made mistakes, President Tebboune remarked that they "must not drown themselves in further mistakes," noting the complications faced by Algerian citizens if they do not have the approval of foreign intelligence services.
The President highlighted Algeria's extensive diplomatic activity with numerous sisterly and friendly countries, specifically noting the strengthening of Algeria-US relations and the "consensus between the two countries" on various issues.
On sports, President Tebboune shared his enthusiasm for the national football team, expressing his passion for seeing them achieve consecutive victories.
