The Commander of Sector No. 5 of Operation Maliko, Colonel Youssouf Oumar CISSÉ met on Friday, January 06, 2023, the rising generation to go to Ténenkou. The meeting took place within the grounds of the Cheickou Amadou TALL camp in Ségou. The objective was, not only, to bring messages of support from the highest authorities of the country, but also and above all to give useful advice for the success of their mission.

By meeting the men, the Sector Commander mainly conveyed messages of confidence to his men who will be deployed in Ténenkou. He reassured them that all means will be implemented so that the mission can take place in the best possible conditions.

Colonel CISSÉ urged them to show more solidarity, mutual aid, collaboration, fighting spirit and fraternity between brothers in arms. He then asked the elements to respect the instructions of the chief in the execution of their mission. He also recalled that the role of the FAMa is to establish order and ensure security in the country. Colonel CISSÉ explained to the men the firm intention of the military and political authorities to make our army the strongest and the most envied.
