The Zone Commander of the 3rd Military Region, Colonel Boubacar Yansary SANOGOH, chaired on Thursday, February 09, 2023, the ceremony of the raising of the colors at the Noumorila basic school. She recorded the presence of administrative and customary authorities and parents of Kati students.

The objective was not only to show the students how the military colors rise, but also to explain the military function to the students.

In his intervention the DCAP of Kati, Boubacar SINGARE, indicated that this ceremony was organized to approach the soldiers to the civilians, especially the young schoolchildren. This rapprochement allows students to release the fear that has always existed. Opportunity to make the army better known by young schoolchildren. He said he was very satisfied with this first ceremony of its kind. Finally, Mr. SINGARE urged the students to be patriots, to love their country, to seek to know the flag and above all that they understand that the military is there for everyone.

It should be noted that the DCAP gave the flag to the director of the basic school of Noumorila and promised to give 250 flags to the directors of the schools of Kati.
