Gao: Body meal with the PM at the Firhoun Ag Alançar military camp.

The commander of PCIAT-EST of Operation Maliko, Colonel Makan Alassane DIARRA organized on February 19, 2023 a meal of the body in honor of Prime Minister Doctor Choguel Kokalla MAIGA and his delegation. It was at the Firhoun Ag Alançar camp. Present were members of the delegation, officers, non-commissioned officers and non-commissioned soldiers of the defense and security forces and the women of the camp.

Before the meeting under the hangar, the Prime Minister made a point of paying a tribute to the soldiers fallen on the field of honor. In the presence of his delegation, he laid a wreath at the stele dedicated to the dead on the Place d’Armes. It was a solemn moment that reminded everyone of the blood shed for the defense and sovereignty of our country. The commander of PCIAT-EST, Colonel Makan Alassane DIARRA welcomed the PM and his delegation to Camp Firhoun Ag Alançar. “Your presence here alongside us, the government’s commitment alongside the defense and security forces is a source of pride for us. The Malian armed forces are grateful for the efforts made by the transitional authorities to improve living and working conditions. Many materials have been acquired, infrastructure has been built, recruitment and training are underway, the Malian armed forces are resolutely committed to the fight against terrorism with well-equipped and well-trained personnel, continues the com-théâtre which has given the assurance that the FAMa will spare no effort to fulfill their sovereign mission.

Prime Minister Doctor Choguel Kokalla MAIGA in his speech reminded the FDS that the government, Mali and the people will never forget them. What are the warriors thanks to whom Mali can beat its chest today? He greeted them and asked them to hold on because the army is the backbone of our Nation. The government will do everything to allow the DFS to be in better working and living conditions because no country in the world can be a power without a powerful army, the PM underlined. I came to share the meal with the FDS and tell them that they are our pride and that our priority remains security and sovereignty over our whole country, underlined the PM. He greeted the president of the transition thanks to whom all the wishes of Malians come true and greatly appreciated the sacrifice of the FAMa.
