Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman, participated this evening in an online ministerial meeting on the global action plan on COVID-19.

The meeting was hosted by Anthony Blinken, Secretary of State of the United States, with the foreign ministers of various countries around the world participating.

In his contribution to the conference, the Foreign Minister said it was important to intensify international cooperation and investment to build an integrated prevention system which is ready and prepared to detect early the risk of epidemics and deal with them quickly to ensure they do not spread.

Sayyid Badr also stressed the need to achieve justice in providing vaccines for all to immunise communities around the globe.
