Riyadh: The Egyptian community and diplomatic mission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia honored Ambassador Tarek El Meligy on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in the country. The ceremony was a significant event, highlighting the efforts and contributions of Ambassador El Meligy during his tenure.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the Egyptian Consul General in Riyadh, Ambassador Tarek El Meligy, emphasized the crucial role of the Egyptian community in enhancing the historic ties between Egypt and Saudi Arabia. He noted his collaborations with the community and the citizens of Saudi Arabia to foster these relations and underscored the solidarity between the two nations, stating, “You will only see us together.”

Ambassador Al-Meligy expressed his satisfaction upon completing his mission in Riyadh, in the midst of the largest Egyptian community outside of Egypt. The ceremony was organized by the General Union of Egyptians Abroad – Saudi Arabia Branch, the Egyptian community in the Kingdom, and members of the Egyptian diplomatic mission. It was attended by Egyptian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ihab Abu Sarea, Dr. Saeed Yahya, President of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad – Saudi Arabia Branch, and members of the Union’s Board of Directors.
